Publishing Possibilities and Ideas
For some authors, ideas are constantly flowing in and it seems like they are constantly writing books. For others, ideas come at a slower rate and it takes months, even years, for an idea to actually become a book. For even more people, they know they have a desire to write, but a concrete idea just won’t come.
No matter where you fall on the idea spectrum, this article will hopefully spark something inside of you even if you’ve never written a book or you’re working on your tenth.
Imagine the possibilities of:
- Organizing your sermon series notes
- Crafting a customized workbook or church cookbook
- Generating a supplemental guide for your speaking events
- Creating a children's book with a deeper message
- Sharing a personal collection of devotions
- Composing your memoirs
- Inspiring readers with poetry or your stories
- Supporting your ministry with a book about your organization’s history
- Writing a novel that gives people hope and joy
- Instructing people how to biblically change areas of their lives and grow
- Teaching on various topics such as forgiveness, parenting, marriage, scripture memory, biblical living, etc.
If one of these ideas appeals to you, give it try. Take some time to brainstorm and jot down some thoughts that come to mind. Eventually you will come to a point where the only thing to do is go forward and keep writing. When you get to that point, don’t stop, keep going until you’re finished. When you finish, come back to CrossBooks and check out our publishing packages and professional services to help you achieve your book publishing goals, whatever they may be.
